EFT- Emotional Freedom Technique

EFT, also known as 'Tapping' is a blend of 2000 year old acupuncture  and modern-day psychology. The client is shown how to tap with their fingers on a set pattern of acupuncture points, whilst focusing on emotional or physical sensations to calm the nervous system and help restore the body’s natural balance.


Stress, emotions, pain, anxiety, phobias etc can all cause blockages in the flow of energy through the body. By gently tapping at the end of these energy pathways we can free these blockages.


Unlike some complimentary therapies, the client does not need to believe in the process for it to work. Tapping can be a liberating experience and once the process is learnt, the client can take it away and work on issues in their own time as a powerful strategy in their emotional toolkit or as part of their own self-care.
